The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) held their Agent Day at Mythe Barn on Thursday 27th April. With the aim of giving venue representatives the opportunity to meet agents face to face and build relationships the sell-out event was attended by over 15 agents and 100 event professionals representing venues from Torquay to St Andrews.

Mythe Barn was chosen as the venue for a global bank’s annual regional conference, with the morning conference focusing on the achievements of the past year and some of the challenges being faced in 2017.
The Fiat group utilise the facilities at Mythe Farm approximately twice per month over two or three days per event for vehicle training and apprentice programmes. These events organised by Launch Events Management Ltd are based from Mythe Barn, but also utilise the on-site Pavilion as well as local vehicle proving ground Horiba MIRA.
Klargester required a two day conferencing and promotional event for their 60 delegates, together with space to display and view their new large waste water treatment systems, and high quality hot and cold buffet lunches on both days. They required four breakout spaces for delegates with projection alongside the main conferencing room on day one. On the second day they requested some fun team activities for all delegates to take part in, including archery, karting, quad racing and team building exercises.
Lexus required a premium venue to hold a two day promotional event to showcase the Lexus GS300h as the superior choice in the sector through a number of workshops and test drive opportunities.
Organised through Leicester based event agent Some Bright Spark the brief was to host a two day conference for locally based logistics specialists TNT.
Zizzi Restaurants required a multitude of spaces for their annual ‘family gathering’. This included formal space to hold a business conference to look at the past year and future opportunities together with outdoor space to have an evening of celebration, fun and reward, large enough to hold a glamping field and festival style event for over 200 delegates. The 150 acre Mythe Farm and Mythe Barn site fitted these requirements perfectly.
During 2015 the glamorous West Midlands Regional Wedding Industry Awards was held here at Mythe Barn. In the spectacular surroundings of the barn, guests had plenty of chance to chat to their peers and make new connections whilst enjoying Champagne Lanson White Label with delicious canapés and bowl food from our on-site caterers. The Dress2Kill dress code was fully embraced and everyone looked amazing!
Arqiva held their Health and Safety Conference at Mythe Barn for 120 delegates. The client wanted a relaxed and fun event at a flexible venue with scope for a variety of different workshops and delicious food.
