ABOUT US
WE HAVE BEEN HOSTING SUCCESSFUL EVENTS AT MYTHE FARM SINCE 2004
The addition of this exclusive, unique and versatile conference and event venue in 2012 has provided a new option for high quality events of all kinds to take place on-site.
The surrounding countryside and rivers with an abundance of wildlife make Mythe Barn feel like you are miles from anywhere!
The 150 acre Mythe Farm was thought to be the last camp site of Richard III’s army before the Battle of Bosworth. Records from 1279 also indicate there was a manor and chapel on the site which was served by the monks of Merevale. In the more recent past Mythe Barn was used for beef, sheep, dairy and arable farming and also cheese making.
Following a successful bid to secure a DEFRA grant through the Rural Development Programme for England, work began to restore our 19th century barn in June 2011. The entire project took two and a half years to complete and a total of £2.4 million was invested in creating the contemporary and inspirational event space we now have.
In olde English, the word ‘Mythe’ means the joining of two rivers. Here at Mythe Farm that is what we have done with our events operation; Mythe Barn can be combined with existing team building activities available onsite via Garlands Corporate and Eventurous Ltd to create a unique and exciting event experience.
