Fiat Trainers – Team Building Case Study

The Fiat group utilise the facilities at Mythe Farm approximately twice per month over two or three days per event for vehicle training and apprentice programmes. These events organised by Launch Events Management Ltd are based from Mythe Barn, but also utilise the on-site Pavilion as well as local vehicle proving ground Horiba MIRA.

On this occasion a team building day was requested for the Fiat team, who conduct the regular training events. Reasons for organising this event were that a few new members had joined the team and they haven’t previously done any team building. Garlands Corporate was the perfect choice for this event due to the client’s familiarity of the events team and facilities on site, as well as the knowledge from previous events that they are in good hands.

The brief was for a morning of team building tasks combined with an afternoon of more fun based motorised activities, to both encourage team working as a whole and team camaraderie. A programme was created to include a number of team/problem solving tasks that required planning, leadership and delegation in order to complete as many tasks as possible within the time given. The ‘revenue’ gained from the tasks were utilised in the final Bridge Building activity.

After lunch, the event took on a competitive feel in a spot of Power Turn Buggies around a tricky slalom course followed by the adrenaline fuelled Quad Bike Racing.

A fantastic, very well presented event enjoyed by all the team. You took our brief and put together just what we needed. Thank you!
